Vogue’s two-day Adelaide street festival that will take place in the city’s trendiest shopping precinct will include a ticketed food and fashion street party, hosted by East End Social. Alongside a sneak peek and BTS fashion photo op, the street party fashion menu has been unveiled….
The wrap party for the Adelaide Fashion Festival’s two-day Vogue street festival looks as delicious as it does on-trend. The party will be held on Saturday 14 October 2017 from 1-5pm – perfect daylight hours for street style fashion shooting!
The Vogue festival colour is pink. And so naturally, models in electric pink neck bows wearing the latest from Sass & Bide, Leonard St and Alannah Hill, posed alongside a banquet table festooned with matching pink floral arrangements to unveil the fashion-inspired menu for the big event.
Pre-launch prepping of hair, make-up and fashionable apparel all took place at Clip Joint, just a few metres away from the launch venue – Mother Vine wine bar. All prep was by east end traders with make-up by Media Make-up from Rundle Mall, a short distance up the road. They keep things close in Adelaide, one of the reasons why this is one party worth traveling to.
Guests attending the East End Social street party will experience some of the best food, wine (and spirits) that South Australia is renowned for. The menu, created by the cook from award-winning Mother Vine, Adrian Bernardi, uses only South Australian ingredients. “I wanted to create something complimentary that was indulgent… (with) bursts of colour and delicious flavour”, he said at the unveiling. Amalfi Ristorante‘s signature mouth watering risotto is also on the menu.
For those partial to a cocktail or two, drinks will include Italian Spritz, Adelaide Gin and Tonic, fine Adelaide wines and spirits.
Absolutely everything – the produce, wine, spirits and of course the fashions will be from local traders in Adelaide’s very trendy East End. With a street party atmosphere that the area is becoming known for, the East End Social will feature a runway show of ready-to-wear spring/summer trends from some of Australia’s most iconic fashion labels that are located in the area.
