Adelaide Fashion Festival 2017 Launched
When the editor of Vogue Australia comes to town, you know something big is cooking in the local fashion scene. Addressing invited guests from the top of a stairway of the Art Gallery of South Australia, and dressed in a shimmering Paolo Sebastian black gown, Edwina McCann paid homage to two Adelaide labels, Paolo Sebastian and Australian Fashion Labels, both celebrating ten years in business.
Announcing the inaugural Vogue Festival, to take place on the 13-14 October weekend within Adelaide’s own Fashion Festival, McCann outlined how Rundle Mall and fashionable Rundle Street will play host to a series of fashion entertainment events with the Vogue team who’ll be visible in their Vogue Tees. With a VIP launch hosted by McCann under the mall’s Gawler place canopy, styled runways, activations, VIP shopping promotions and loads of prizes, it’s the official East End Social presents Vogue Wrap Party in stylish Vardon Avenue that caught everyone’s attention. Cocktails, food and drink on arrival, cool tunes and of course Australian fashion!
The programme unveiled at last night’s Adelaide Fashion Festival launch celebrates local, national and international design with 10 runway shows and 5 days full of long lunches, masterclasses, markets and a Myer runway featuring Jennifer Hawkins.
Fashion lovers should NOT MISS the chance to win a once-in-a-life-time getaway for two people to a fashion capital of your choice, be it Paris, New York, Milan or London, valued at $10,000! Details will soon be made available through Rundle Mall.
